our company
Roseroot Textiles is an innovative and high-performance textile and homewares company with a commitment to the environment. Roseroot Textiles was founded by Mollie Levy-Roseroot after many years of working as both a visual artist and in the contract textile industry. Mollie is greatly inspired by art brut as well as the female artists of the Bauhaus. She fuses her knowledge of art and design to bring beautiful textiles to the market.
Our environmental mission
Roseroot Textiles is committed to bringing products to the market that leave little to no harmful impact to the environment.
Our digitally printed textiles are made using non-toxic inks, and all goods are made to order leaving no excess waste during the production process.
Our woven textiles are made at a domestic weaving mill using the finest yarns for both durability and long-term use. And we attempt to use post-consumer material in our woven fabrics whenever possible.
Our mailers for our samples are made from a recyclable, low-density polyethylene material.
Our stain treatment, Alta™ is both human and environmentally compliant. Alta™ passes EPA, Cal Prop 65, AB 2998, and EU Reach standards for safer chemistry.
We are currently developing a sample return program so they can be safely disposed of.
We will continue to research best practices for the environment, sustainability and human health overall.
